Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leadership role responsible for Data Centre segment driving business growth by managing key client accounts and developing new business opportunities across multiple states. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a good understanding of the Data Centre industry.

  • Develop and execute commercial strategy for sale of Grid Solutions Power Transmission business line products and services, including Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Instrument Transformers, Power Quality and Power Sensing devices

  • Collaborate with region sales managers and cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions that address client challenges

  • Own the accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customer(s). 

  • Develop and own with the support of the regional sales managers, strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of sales teams account strategies.

  • Drive identification, prospecting and creation of new sales opportunities.

  • Help develop written strategies for pursuing opportunities at Data Centre strategic customer accounts.

  • Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competition to product line marketing.

  • Perform periodic account reviews with management

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree OR (High School Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of direct sales, Channels sales, account or team leadership experience.

  • Additional 5 years of experience in direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership experience.

  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time as required

 

Desired Qualifications

  • 2 years or more of proven successful sales experience in Data Centre industry, ideally with experience in Electrical equipment Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Instrument Transformers

  • Preferred location in Arizona, Texas, Virginia

  • Strong knowledge of Data Centre industry trends, market dynamics, and customer requirements, experience working with colocators, hyperscalers and developers.

  • Exceptional skills in negotiation, communication, and presenting solutions to stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and main relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Demonstrated strong communication, presentation skills with different levels of management, executive, engineering and operations

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $92,800.00 and $154,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
