QUALIFICATIONS
- Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory and specialized test equipment to support customer testing.
- Execute test plans and datasheets in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Evaluate test performance, analyze sample operation, and interpret test results.
- Accurately record observed and calculated data, completing test reports and UL datasheets.
- Examine customer samples, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational instructions to ensure correct test execution.
- Communicate with customers during test setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation and understanding of test methods and results.
- Provide feedback to Engineering and Management on testing issues, laboratory procedures, and improvement opportunities.
- Build, modify, or adapt test setups and equipment to meet new or changing testing requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Train and support other staff on specific test methods and equipment setup.
- May plan tests, direct staff during test setups, and provide professional opinions and interpretations of results.
- Apply continuous improvement concepts to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and overall lab performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Higher Secondary Education required; three (3) years of related experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams
- Proven ability to be innovative, creative, and solution-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a team-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Ability and interest in incorporating automation into daily testing activities.
