Balazs Nanoanalysis is a contract analytical laboratory owned by Air Liquide Electronics is world-wide leader in supplying gases, specialty chemicals and services to a wide variety of industries. Balazs Nanoanalysis operates analytical labs around the world serving both internal and external clients. We support clients in a wide array of industries including semiconductor, biotechnology, aerospace/defense industry, solar, energy storage, automotive and many others. Our highly-skilled chemists assist other scientists and engineers from companies in these fields to support a wide array of activities such as quality assurance, contamination studies, R&D and failure analysis.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Manage laboratory operations at the Balazs Asia laboratory to ensure safe, quality and timely services to Balazs Asia customers
Ensure technical clarity with Balazs reports and clear communication to customers across a breadth of analytical techniques.
Plan Balazs Asia operations for introduction of new technology and establishment of new analytical services.
Direct the strategic growth of the department by recommending and implementing new analytical capabilities and improving on operational processes in the laboratory.
Manage laboratory facility, staff and laboratories to ensure all operations are efficient and cost effective.
Supervise, mentor and train Balazs Asia chemists/employees
Evaluate and optimize operational projects and processes end results to ensure financial and performance objectives are met.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the lab and company (method evaluations, supplier qualifications, quality functions, quality assurance issues, etc.).
Ensure adherence to internal, e.g. IMS, and external, e.g. ISO, safety and quality standards for the laboratory
College/university degree in Analytical Chemistry or Similar Science
“Three or more years’ experience of management at a semiconductor materials supplier.
Experience (5-10 years) with analytical techniques such as mass spectrometry (ICP-MS, GC-MS),
chromatography (GC, LC, IC), FTIR and UV-VIS spectroscopies and abilities to pick up new analysis
techniques and data interpretation
Considerable experience performing sample preparation and analysis in a laboratory environment
required
Must be knowledgeable of chemical analysis applications as they pertain to the semiconductor industry
Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills
Must have initiative and be self-motivated.
Good organization skills.
Must have good written and verbal skills in Mandarin and English
