Summary of Responsibilities:
Chervon North America, proud parent of EGO, SKIL, and FLEX is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to help drive our business relationship with one of our key partners, Lowe’s Home Improvement. As our portfolio with Lowe’s continues a rapid growth trajectory, we have the need to add a motivated sales professional.  The individual we seek will have a proven track record building revenue and profit in the Do-it-Yourself (DIY) Sales Channel (preferably with Lowe’s). This individual must be aggressive with a strong sense of ownership and urgency that drives results.  As the voice of the customer internally, the Key Account Manager will provide leadership to the broader shared service functions that support Lowe’s including digital content, forecasting, logistics, brand marketing, and finance. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for revenue growth, profitability, analytics, forecasting, and brand presence.  Professional intelligence that facilitates effective external and internal communications, coupled with the ability to turn data to actionable insights are key skills required to succeed.  This position will be focused on working directly with the various teams at Lowe’s as well in including Merchandising, Branding, Marketing, Store Operations, Supply Chain and Finance. 
Key Job Responsibilities: 
Overall

  • Develop account strategy for KOBALT OPE and execute a tactical plan to drive sales growth both for in store and on-line.
  • Analyzes POS, event results and related metrics to evaluate and refine strategies/tactics.
  • Works cross-functionally with global business, brand and digital marketing teams.
  • Works directly with Lowe’s Teams to achieve sales/margin objectives.

Sales and Account Management

  • Responsible for assigned Lowe’s account P&L in coordination with supporting functions. This includes Our KOBALT Program and Our OPE Online sales program. 
  • Drives profitable growth to meet or exceed annual revenue and profit plan.
  • Negotiates all programs, promotions to deliver agreed account proformas.  
  • Develop and manage promotional budget in coordination with global business teams.
  • Creates monthly and annual sales reports in accordance with key performance indicators.

Product, Channel and Pricing

  • Places new and existing products through Product Line Reviews, new product launches, etc.
  • Works closely with marketing and product development teams on product offerings, pricing and promotional plans.
  • Works closely with brand management and product management to maintain a robust and comprehensive product road map for the channel.

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales/account management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills within all levels of an organization.
  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting; financial management; merchandising.
  • Excellent business management and developmental skills.
  • Experience with Lowe’s and Lowe’s systems (i.e. Vendor DART, JDA) a plus.
  • This position requires approximately 25-30% travel; some international.
