The Key Account Manager- Albertsons West will be responsible for Albertsons Western Divisional banners and building relationships with our Divisional Category Managers to help drive increased revenue growth and profitability, while collaborating with our Albertsons sales lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic leader responsible for the oversight of the Albertsons West Divisional banners (SoCal, NorCal, Seattle, Portland, Intermountain, Southwest, Haggen)
  • Drive processes and execution of annual plans on behalf of OLIPOP
  • Responsible for reporting directly to our Albertsons National Account Manager on a weekly basis
  • Help assist the Albertsons National Account Manager to achieve overall account goals and company goals
  • Partner with Sr. Management and cross functional team members to build Annual Plans to achieve both short term and long term business objectives
  • Create strategy and priorities for the OLIPOP field teams, 3rd party merchandising partners and broker partners, to implement approved sales and marketing strategies to optimize sales at store level
  • Work with multiple distributor partners across both customers to ensure sales plans are being executed at the highest level. Continually evaluate the route to market and make strategic decisions to move business direct when possible.
  • Monthly meetings with our Demand Planning and Ops teams to ensure accurate forecasts with timely communication to meet our production lead times.
  • Meet Bi-Weekly with our trade marketing team to organize marketing activations to drive brand awareness & coordinate key programs with our Albertsons West Banners
  • Oversee the on-going account updates and performance reporting against key metrics and problem solve plan gaps and bring forward recommendations to deliver on required business objectives.
  • Create presentations for the leadership team on a consistent basis in regards to your key account priorities, goals, strategy, and initiatives.
  • Travel for in person retailer category reviews and meetings, broker meetings, trade shows such as Expo West or Expo East, regional Divisional shows, etc.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously – you can run with something from beginning to end.
  • Ability to present and effectively communicate brand story and strategy of an organization to key stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation capabilities, with experience navigating challenging scenarios to find a win-win
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities, inclusive of drawing insights and gaps through syndicated data, retailer data and consumer insights 
  • Cross-functional collaborator, with experience working across marketing, shopper marketing and retailer teams for a mutual goal
  • Strong planning, organization and project management skills, along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Competence in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite. Experience with team collaboration tools such as Slack and Zoom preferred.
  • Excel Intermediate Proficiency required: pivot tables, formulas and data analysis
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with a working knowledge of the ins and outs of Regional Accounts and the CPG industry.
  • Trade & Promotional experience required: experience negotiating with retailers and controlling retail pricing
  •  Regional Account headquarter level experience and Broker Management Experience is crucial for this role.
  • Must have demonstrated experience communicating goals and driving accountability with clarity
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Clean driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.

COMPENSATION:

$90,000-$100,000 base salary + bonus
