Junior Software Development Engineer
Location:
Cary, NC 27513
Company:
Fouress Synergy LLC
Job description:
About Fouress Synergy
Fouress Synergy LLC is a fast-growing international trading company with operations across the US, Hong Kong, UAE, and Southeast Asia, dealing in polymers, petrochemicals, and agro commodities. We are a lean, ambitious team and we move fast. This is not a large corporate environment - you will have real ownership from day one.
Role Overview
We are looking for a driven Software Development Engineer to join us in Cary, NC. You will be embedded in our core operations team, building and maintaining internal tools and integrations that directly support our sales, trade, and administrative functions. The role is hands-on and varied - one day you may be building an automation pipeline, the next debugging an API integration or setting up a new internal system.
This role comes with significant learning scope. You will gain practical exposure to AI agent frameworks, cloud infrastructure, CRM ecosystems, third-party API integrations, and real international business operations simultaneously. If you want to build broad, practical skills fast and own things end-to-end, this is the right environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain integrations between cloud services, CRM platforms, and third-party APIs
Develop AI-powered automation tools to support sales and trade operations teams
Manage internal communication and messaging integrations across platforms
Support our web presence - domain management, DNS, and website updates
Automate repetitive workflows to improve team efficiency across departments
Own deployments end-to-end - build, ship, and keep systems running reliably
Troubleshoot issues quickly and independently with minimal hand-holding
Who You Are
You take ownership - if something breaks, you fix it; you don't wait to be told
You are comfortable in a small team where the work is varied and unpredictable
You are hungry to learn and see a new tool or system as an opportunity, not an obstacle
You can hold your own technically but also communicate clearly with non-technical people
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply if they are motivated and technically solid
Work Location: In person
Requirements
Solid Python - able to write clean, working scripts and small applications independently
Confident consuming and debugging REST APIs
Basic cloud experience (GCP or AWS) - deploying services, managing secrets, reading logs
Git and version control
Strong troubleshooting instincts - you figure things out rather than waiting for answers
Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical colleagues
Experience with AI/LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)
Familiarity with CRM platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
Webhook-driven and event-based system design
Web scraping tools (Playwright, Puppeteer, BeautifulSoup)
Basic front-end skills (HTML/CSS/JS) for building internal tools
Exposure to business messaging APIs (WhatsApp, LINE, or similar)
Benefits
$2,400/month, Full-time, in-person role based in Cary, NC
Real ownership and responsibility from day one
Broad technical exposure: AI, cloud, APIs, CRM, automation, and more
Direct exposure to international trade operations across multiple business verticals
Fast-learning environment with mentorship from senior leadership
