In This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full renewal lifecycle for education sector customers, focusing on driving timely contract renewals, expanding cloud adoption, and uncovering cross-sell and upsell opportunities. You will engage directly with academic institutions to understand their digital transformation priorities, guide them toward optimal licensing models, and ensure seamless migration to cloud services, while maintaining compliance with program governance and operational standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesRenewal & Growth ManagementLead end-to-end renewal cycle for licensing agreements, ensuring on-time closures and proactive customer engagement.
Analyze customer usage and business needs to recommend value-driven licensing and cloud-based solutions.
Drive upsell and cross-sell through consultative engagement and strategic positioning of digital transformation benefits.
Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene, opportunity stages, and reporting metrics in required business tools.
Educate customers on cloud capabilities, ROI advantages, and modernization opportunities to facilitate cloud adoption.
Execute outreach strategies for customers nearing end-of-support timelines to migrate workloads.
Promote secure, scalable cloud solutions while aligning with program guidelines and promotional standards.
Engage priority inbound leads to identify net-new opportunities within the education segment.
Qualify new opportunities based on digital signals and route advanced scenarios to partner or specialist teams.
Maintain high responsiveness to high-intent customer signals to contribute to sales pipeline growth.
Follow standardized rules of engagement, service-level agreements, and escalation protocols.
Document customer interactions, renewal status, and deal progress with accuracy and transparency.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, partners, and licensing specialists to ensure deal compliance and streamlined execution.
2–4 years of experience in sales operations, licensing management, account coordination, or customer engagement.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Experience managing sales pipelines or contract renewals with measurable KPIs.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience working with education sector customers (K-12, community colleges, or public sector).
Knowledge of cloud solutions, SaaS pricing models, or digital transformation strategies.
Familiarity with CRM tools, partner ecosystems, or licensing models.
Prior success in a quota-driven or customer-facing renewal environment.
Customer engagement & relationship building

Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $20/hr. The final salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may fall outside this range.
