Job Summary:As a Junior Product Manager at Approach, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and enhancement of our climbing gym software platform. You will collaborate with to ensure our products meet the unique needs of the climbing gym industry. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, support product roadmap creation, and managing product development projects. You will also work closely with the design team to ensure a seamless user experience and provide customer support to address product-related inquiries. Primary Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Assist in the development and enhancement of SaaS products tailored to climbing gyms. Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing to ensure product alignment with market needs.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Analyze data to inform product decisions and strategy.
- Product Roadmap: Support the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps. Prioritize features and improvements based on customer feedback, market demands, and business goals.
- User Experience: Work closely with the design team to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. Gather user feedback and conduct usability testing to refine product features.
- Project Management: Manage product development projects from inception to launch. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality of product releases.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed product documentation, including specifications, user guides, and release notes.
- Customer Support: Provide support to customers and internal teams regarding product-related inquiries. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving product issues.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and usage metrics. Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance product effectiveness.
Skills & Competencies:
- You can use data and logic to solve complex problems.
- You are good at communicating your thoughts clearly and efficiently.
- You are good at building relationships and working in a team.
- You are comfortable with the tools of the trade (JIRA, Productboard, Figma, etc).
- You know what Agile development is and how to follow best practices.
- You can hold your own in a conversation about software development and UX methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in product management in a SaaS environment, preferably in an Agile environment.
