Moov is the payments processor devoted to delighting users. We help software companies add money movement to their products, letting the end-user drive how they pay and get paid.

We're looking for a resourceful, detail-oriented Junior Events Coordinator who’s eager to learn and passionate about creating meaningful experiences.

As Moov’s Junior Events Coordinator, you’ll support the planning and execution of external and internal events, including conferences, team gatherings, and high-impact field marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Senior Events Manager, Director of Brand Marketing, and the broader marketing and sales team to help bring events to life through coordination, logistics, and thoughtful execution.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys solving problems, and brings a "no task too small" mindset to team collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of Moov-hosted and sponsored events.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including shipping, vendor communications, venue details, and swag inventory.
  • Support internal event operations such as registration tracking, travel planning, and meal coordination.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment before, during, and after events.
  • Help track and maintain the event calendar, timelines, and action items.
  • Maintain and organize supplies in Moov’s event storage unit and support logistics for shipping materials to and from event sites.
  • Help ship employee, partnership, and prospect swag packages as needed.
  • Support on-site event execution and assist in setup and teardown when required.
  • Contribute to post-event wrap-ups and documentation to support ongoing improvements.
  • Jump in where needed; Moov is a startup, and we all wear many hats.
  • This position may also include work on the following: marketing content, sales enablement tasks, internal communications, and other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Some prior experience in event planning or marketing (internships, part-time work, or volunteer experience welcome!).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and follow-through; you’re comfortable talking to vendors and teammates alike.
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and isn’t afraid to ask questions.
  • Willingness to travel for events, with most events held in the Denver area but some occurring nationwide. Dependable transportation is required, with mileage reimbursement available.
  • Living in or able to relocate to the Denver metro area.

Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands
  • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
  • Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 30 pounds
  • Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required

Salary range: $65k - $75k, based on experience, geography and other key factors.

  • The opportunity to join an experienced and ambitious team passionate about solving customers’ needs and who love what they do
  • Partner with a community of 4500+ developers around the world, helping them focus on possibilities vs payments

Advice:

If you are nervous about not having the right qualifications, apply anyway! We hire people, not job roles. We look for talent that will help us push boundaries, experiment, and bring in new ideas. That means caring more about qualities than qualifications.

One more thing:

Don’t go iron your clothes for your interview (do people still own irons?). We're all pretty casual here, so you can wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

Okay—last thing:

When you meet with us, have some concrete, tangible examples of when you’ve added value, improved something, created something, or done some fantastic, customer-centric work. We also want to learn about you as a person. If you want to know what it’s like working at Moov, check out stories from our employees.

PS:

Share our job roles with others! Wouldn’t it be nice to make new friends and bring over old friends? We think so.
