Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys leading a team, analyzing financial performance, and playing a key role in the success of a business?

We’re seeking for a Junior Accounting Manager to oversee the dealership’s accounting, financial, administrative, and office operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized, analytical, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of financial operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements by the 5th of the month
  • Works with upper management to make hiring and discipline decisions for accounting staff
  • Reports regularly to and works effectively with HAG
  • Oversees preparation of payroll and payroll records
  • Provides General Manager and other managers with necessary financial information, including Daily Operating Report
  • Ensures that necessary controls are in place to safeguard dealership assets
  • Trains, supervises, and assists office staff
  • Oversees additions and modifications to inventory
  • Assists in Human Resource compliance
  • Attends weekly manager meetings
  • Prepares daily cash sheet
  • Assists in preparation of annual budget
  • Ensures that annual external audit requirements are met
  • Maintains effective employee relations
  • Maintains CSI at or above company standards
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Participates in required training
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; equivalent accounting experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of accounting or related financial experience.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in an automotive dealership environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of dealership documents, accounting processes, and applicable automotive industry regulations.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Schedule may include occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Position is primarily office-based and requires regular use of a computer, communication with employees and leadership.
