CMiC is one of the leading enterprise software platforms purpose-built for the construction industry. Trusted by many of North America’s largest contractors, our unified ERP and field operations solution replaces dozens of disconnected systems—managing finance, projects, forecasting, payroll, and people, all in one place.

We’re hiring a tech-minded, analytically driven Junior Account Executive to join our Enterprise Sales Team. This is a high-impact, growth-focused role that combines outbound lead generation, entry-level deal ownership, and direct collaboration with senior Account Executives. You’ll gain real exposure to full-cycle enterprise sales while supporting high-stakes digital transformation initiatives across the construction industry.

This position is ideal for someone with early sales or construction experience who’s eager to grow beyond a traditional BDR role, develop enterprise selling skills, and contribute to C-level conversations. You’ll be coached by the VP of Enterprise Sales and actively participate in CMiC’s Account Executive Program.

What You’ll Do:

  • Source and qualify leads from mid-to-large construction companies using outbound campaigns, events, and referrals
  • Use Salesloft, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo and other tools to build pipeline and track activity
  • Run discovery calls and develop business cases for entry-level sales opportunities
  • Assist senior Account Executives with early-stage enterprise opportunities and proposal development
  • Communicate clearly with finance, operations, and C-level stakeholders to align CMiC’s solution to business needs
  • Analyze performance metrics, pipeline trends, and territory activity to improve lead quality and conversion
  • Travel to key industry trade shows and customer events alongside sales leadership
  • Participate in weekly strategy sessions, AE Program training, and deal reviews

What We Offer:

  • Creative compensation plan with commission tied to both qualified pipeline and closed deals
  • No cap on earnings, with substantial upside for performance
  • Structured advancement through CMiC’s Account Executive Program, preparing you to move into a full-cycle AE role
  • Mentorship and direct coaching from the VP of Enterprise Sales and experienced team leaders
  • Support from solution engineers, product experts, marketing, and a collaborative sales team
  • The opportunity to sell into a massive, evolving industry and make a visible impact

Requirements
  • 1–3 years of sales, business development, or equivalent construction industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or Information Technology
  • Tech-forward mindset with a genuine interest in how software is reshaping construction
  • Analytical, data-driven, and comfortable using BI tools or sales analytics dashboards to guide actions
  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools
  • Professional communication skills with comfort interacting at all organizational levels, including C-suite
  • Organized, curious, coachable, and ready to grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows
