Summary:Yondr is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Junior Product Manager to support the development and execution of our product vision within the Education segment. This role will play a critical part in ensuring our solutions meet the unique operational, cultural, and security needs of schools and educational institutions.
Reporting to the SVP, Product & Operations and working closely with the SVP, Education, this position will help define, prioritize, and execute product initiatives that enable safe, phone-free learning environments. The Junior PM will support roadmap development, coordinate cross-functional execution, and translate customer and market insights into actionable product improvements.
This is a high-impact role with visibility across product, operations, sales, and supply chain, requiring strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:Product Strategy & ExecutionSupport the SVP, Product & Operations in developing the Education product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and Yondr’s overall product vision.
Translate high-level strategy into clear product requirements and milestones for education-specific solutions.
Assist in prioritizing features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure product-market fit and timely delivery.
Conduct targeted research on education trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory requirements that affect adoption and usage in schools.
Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to gather feedback directly from administrators, teachers, and district leaders.
Monitor and synthesize insights into clear recommendations to shape product decisions.
Work closely with Design, Industrial Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure education products meet usability, safety, and durability standards.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support go-to-market plans, ensuring messaging, packaging, and training materials are tailored to the education audience.
Partner with Operations to ensure smooth implementation and support for large-scale school deployments.
Act as the voice of the education customer, championing ease of use, durability, and safety in product design.
Assist in creating pilot programs and feedback loops with schools to validate product features and functionality.
Document and maintain product specifications, ensuring consistency across SKUs and alignment with supply chain requirements.
Track and analyze product performance metrics specific to education (e.g., adoption rates, issue resolution, cost-to-serve).
Support the preparation of reporting dashboards and executive updates.
Recommend iterative improvements to products, processes, and customer engagement strategies based on data-driven insights.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education Technology, Engineering, or related field.
3-5 years of product management, product marketing, or related experience.
Strong analytical and research skills; ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
