Job Summary
Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. Additionally, all team members may be called upon to support proposal efforts as needed. This could include resume formatting, providing skills alignment summaries, participating in meetings, or contributing to solutioning activities based on subject matter expertise or functional experience.
Responsibilities
- Support Army War Fighter and various Marine, Navy, and Air Force exercises
- During War Fighter, the JTAC SME acts as a CAS Pilot Role player executing CAS missions from check-in to check-out with all training audience control agencies via voice and CHAT.
- TBMCS/ ESTAT/PERSPECTIVE will also be used. This includes being involved in planning each exercise from start to finish.
- The JTAC SME will provide inputs to those individuals writing the exercise products such as SPINS.
- The JTAC SME will also be required to learn how to operate Part Task Trainer (PTT) which is an air model used during War Fighter exercises and to support other exercises using this model.
- Some travel may be required.
Requirements
- Extensive understanding of air-ground integration processes and techniques.
- Experience in operational planning and execution of close air support missions.
- Ability to conduct effective training sessions and briefings with military personnel.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop detailed after-action reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
