We are looking for a Java Full-Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performing backend services in Java/Spring Boot alongside responsive, modern web frontends using modern JavaScript frameworks (React / Angular / Vue).

You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and DevOps engineers to build scalable software solutions that deliver high value to our end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Backend Development (40%): Architect, build, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Frontend Development (30%): Build scalable, responsive, and cross-browser compatible UI components using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Database & Integration (15%): Design and optimize relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases; integrate third-party APIs and services.
  • Quality & Performance (15%): Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests); optimize application speed, security, and scalability.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack web development.
  • Backend Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11+ or Java 17+) and the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security).
  • Frontend Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one core framework (React.js, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Databases: Hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) OR NoSQL databases, including database design and query optimization.
  • APIs & Web Services: Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and standard pull-request workflows.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Experience with message brokers (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience writing unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or modern frontend testing libraries (Jest, Cypress).

Key Success Metrics (KPIs)

  • Delivery of reliable, well-tested feature deployments against quarterly sprint goals.
  • Maintaining application performance, test coverage (>80%), and low defect rates in production.
  • Active participation in code reviews and architectural discussions.
