JOB SUMMARY:
Initial point of contact for all new IT services related all IT related equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshoot problems reported by users through email, phone call, face-to-face, and the Matrix42 helpdesk system. Administer desktop computers, printers, VOIP phones, software, and miscellaneous hardware. Create quotes based on individual user needs to meet company goals. Order and receive hardware/software. Maintain and ensure network integrity through WAN/LAN system. Troubleshoot to help Network team isolate and solve issues. Setup and Maintain IP Addresses. Maintain and deploy computers and users through Active Directory and Active Roles. Maintain network facilities in individual machines, including drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers. Create quotes for desktop builds including all compatible hardware components needed. Build desktop computers to fit the needs of the environment. Install and configure the needed software, and configure network and drivers. Quote and order laptops to fit individual user's needs. Install and upgrade various hardware components i.e. SSD, RAM. Install and configure software needed. Configure laptop network and driver settings. Maintain Laptops, and Desktops, performing maintenance as needed. Repair includes laptop screen, keyboard, RAM, and hard drive replacement. Replacement of various desktop components, virus scans, and software troubleshooting. Create quotes as needed for Zebra label printers including all needed components such as cables. Configure and set up on network Maintain all printers and repair as needed, replacing bad components and calling in Service when needed. Quote and order printers as needed. Set up and configure printer to be used on our network. Install printer on computers as needed. Maintain and repair printer hardware as needed. Set up and configure software on individual computers. New user set up, and reassignment through ShoreTel director. Maintain and Troubleshoot cellphones including email setup and contact lists. Set up, monitor and configure IP cameras on Network. Configure cameras. Troubleshoot and replace faulty cameras. Network configuration for individual machines. Deployment of new devices on network, switch port activation. Installation of Ethernet cable and cable management within the network closets and on production floor. Help meet individual user's needs for new projects. Help with layout, design, hardware, and software configuration to meet project needs. Setup, Maintain and Monitor Plant MES systems. Software licensing, installation and configuration for all systems. Understands and follows existing Magna policies, procedures, work instructions and standards and makes recommendations for continuous improvements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and other current techniques related to manufacturing. Demonstrated strong communication skills in order to communicate with other functional areas both internally and externally for successful completion of projects. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to influence decisions that affect assigned projects. Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and develop appropriate solutions in order to assist in troubleshooting problems.
