Job Description
BAE is looking for a part-time Project Manager to help lead all technical aspects of a seven member infrastructure team to include planning, coordinating, and prioritizing technical processes and operations. As a leader, you will ensure that all service and security related SLAs are met, modernization activities are on schedule, security is integrated and current across all services.
Part-Time schedule would be 4 days per week 6 - 8 hours per day determined by candidate upon hire.
  • Lead infrastructure team stand ups (Kanban board)
  • Oversee Infrastructure Team's responses to annual Inspector General (IG) Audit taskings
  • Oversee Infrastructure Team's ATO POAM mitigation efforts
  • Oversee IT management processes to include Operations, Change Management, Configuration Management, Build/Release Management, InfoSec Management
  • Manage critical tickets (to include outages) by assigning to correct team members, creating Spot Reports, following up, communicating throughout to govt managers, and ensuring quick resolution
  • Ensure all software/hardware are supported, patched and up to date; compile and send out build/release reports
  • Partner with information security team to ensure compliance with all security requirements; ensure adherence to IT policies and best practices
  • Work to understand inefficiencies that impede progress and identify opportunities to increase efficiency through procedural changes or automation
  • Support the team in the creation and maintenance of documentation for standard operating procedures

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience (5+ years of hands-on technical experience in an enterprise IT environment; 5+ years of technical management and/or leadership experience)
  • Passion for technology, emerging technology, and staying up to date on industry trends
  • Understanding of core ITIL service management principles and experience with ticketing systems
  • High sense of urgency and ownership with ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, adherence to deadlines, and ability to work independently and as a member of the team
  • Understanding of scrum and agile processes
  • Effective personal organization and note taking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent listening skills
  • Proven excellence in working effectively with govt managers and technical directors
  • Proven experience in implementing process and quality improvements
  • Experience with IT compliance, risk management and security practices
  • Experience with change management
  • Experience with incident and problem management
  • Demonstrated experience with Jira

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
