Your role in our success:

The IT Project Manager II will lead multiple medium to large sized IT projects. This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects under the direction of the IT PMO Director. This is a mid-career role in project management, that includes responsibilities and ownership of project lifecycles, stakeholder communication, and technical coordination.

What you'll be working on:

  • Leads, plans, and executes medium to large sized information technology projects to ensure projects
    are completed on time, within budget, and meet defined objectives.
  • Able to lead more than one IT project concurrently
  • Collaborates with cross‐functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Allocates and manages project resources, including personnel, budgets and technology.
  • Oversee project implementation, track day‐to‐day progress and manage schedules to meet deadlines and performance targets.
  • Creates and manages project plan, budget, charter, and other project documentation used to track risks and project success.
  • Leads and coordinates all project meetings, track deliverables, collects feedback, and maintains documentation.
  • Compiles and delivers regular status and financial updates to keep teams and stakeholders informed.
  • Able to deliver updates to an executive level audience.
  • Identifies, assesses and mitigates risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensures projects adhere to organizational policies, procedures, standards and best practices.
  • Act as a liaison and partner between IT, business units, and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
  • Five to eight years of IT project management experience
  • Project Management Professional Preferred
  • Knowledge of foundational project management principles
  • Knowledge of planning, estimating and managing a project budget
  • Strong organization, problem‐solving, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and IT Software Development Life Cycle
  • Creative and flexible to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to support decision‐making
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to different sites as needed by the project
  • Ability to manage multiple small projects concurrently
  • Ability to work cross functionally with teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Ability to learn and apply project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule
  • Valid Driver's License
