Role Summary
We are seeking an accomplished IT Programme Manager to lead a business-critical transformation programme involving the implementation of a new Practice Management System (PMS) and Document Management System (DMS). This role will be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of finance and document systems that underpin core business operations, reporting, and service delivery.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience managing complex, multi-vendor programmes that involve enterprise-level finance platforms and modern document management solutions. Familiarity with platforms such as Elite 3E, Aderant Expert, or cloud-based finance and operations systems (including Microsoft Dynamics) would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full programme lifecycle for the implementation of a new PMS and DMS, from planning and procurement through to delivery and post-go-live support.
- Define governance frameworks, reporting cadence, and risk mitigation strategies across workstreams.
- Engage stakeholders from IT, finance, legal/commercial, and operations to ensure business alignment and successful change outcomes.
- Oversee vendor management, including system integrators and technology partners involved in platform configuration and data migration.
- Coordinate the integration of the PMS with related systems such as billing, HR, CRM, reporting, and data management platforms.
- Drive the transition to a modern DMS, improving document workflows, security, and compliance.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful user adoption and sustained benefit realization.
Essential Experience
- Strong track record delivering enterprise finance system or ERP programmes within mid-to-large organizations.
- Experience implementing Practice Management Systems (e.g. Elite 3E, Aderant Expert, or similar) and delivering transformation across finance, billing, and operational functions.
- Background in document management system implementations across complex or regulated environments.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple third-party vendors across technical and business-facing workstreams.
- Understanding of integration design between finance platforms and enterprise systems such as HR, CRM, and reporting tools.
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or comparable cloud-based ERP platforms would be beneficial.
- Experience in programme delivery within legal, consulting, or professional services sectors.
- Familiarity with business intelligence/reporting (e.g. Power BI), master data management, and data warehouse environments.
- Knowledge of legacy system decommissioning and modernization planning.

Qualifications
