Cottage Health seeks an EPMO Program Manager Senior for their CH ITS Admistration department responsible for providing enterprise portfolio governance, prioritization, and execution oversight across a portfolio of large-scale clinical, digital, and operational programs from concept through deployment. This role serves as a strategic operator and trusted partner to executive leadership, accountable for portfolio alignment, financial stewardship, value realization, and successful delivery of interrelated programs and projects across the health system. The EPMO Senior Program Manager aligns IT initiatives with enterprise strategy, regulatory requirements, and patient care priorities, drives EPMO governance, standards, and operating rigor, and ensures technology investments deliver measurable clinical, financial, and operational outcomes.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, information technology, business management, or applicable years of experience (2 years experience = 1 year college)
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, information technology, business management, or applicable years of experience (2 years experience = 1 year college). Master’s degree in business administration, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or related field

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Minimum: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Preferred: Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent enterprise-level certification reflecting portfolio governance experience.

Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum: Competency using project management tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Project or other workflow documentation tools). Strong working knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including EHR platforms (e.g., Epic), digital health solutions, and enterprise applications.
  • Preferred: Alternative Working knowledge of hospital or business operations. Experience with portfolio and project management tools (e.g., ServiceNow PPM or equivalent) for tracking, reporting, and governance.

Years of Related Work Experience:

  • Minimum: 7 years of progressive IT or enterprise project and program management experience, including demonstrated leadership of enterprise-level programs and cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: 10 years of program management experience with 3 or more years in a senior leadership role supporting clinical or business operations within a healthcare environment.

*Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health’s annual management incentive program. Physician compensation is determined based upon specialty and may include bonus potential.
