As an IT Program Management Principal here at Honeywell, you will oversee and drive the successful execution of IT programs within the Aerospace Technologies sector, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering high-quality results.

You will report directly to our Director IT, and you will work out of our Phoenix or Charlotte location, on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of IT initiatives, support cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational performance and drive business growth. You will support  the successful delivery of enterprise technology initiatives supporting the Plant-to-Produce  (PTP) value stream. This role will drive standardization, optimization, and automation of P2P processes— including Materials Planning, Manufacturing Execution & Quality Management as part of a multi‑year SAP S/4HANA implementation within Honeywell Aerospace Technologies .

This role is accountable for modernizing global Manufacturing operations by harmonizing processes, driving automation, and ensuring full compliance with Aerospace & Defense (A&D) regulatory requirements, while aligning technology delivery with enterprise business objectives. 

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT programs, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define program objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Monitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Drive global process standardization and harmonization across regions and business units to enable scalable, repeatable material planning, quality & manufacturing operations operations
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience in IT program management, demonstrating the ability to lead complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Expertise in utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira to track progress and manage resources.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience leading large‑scale ERP or S/4HANA transformations, preferably within P2P( Plan to Produce).
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations is a plus.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8 or more years of experience in IT program or project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and frameworks is desirable.
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt certification
