The Role

The IT Enterprise Architect – Applications is responsible for managing the overall application architecture for the IT organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic initiatives.

This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions—guiding the development, integration, and optimization of enterprise-wide applications. You will partner with IT and business stakeholders to establish strategies that ensure system scalability, stability, and resilience to meet the evolving needs of our global business.

The role will also lead optimization of ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM) to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence, ensuring consistency and performance across platforms.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure that enterprise application architecture supports organizational strategy and objectives.

  • Define integration strategies that promote standardization, reduce technical debt, and improve agility.

  • Provide technical leadership and enforce architectural standards and best practices.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

  • Collaborate closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align priorities and communicate effectively.

  • Optimize the ServiceNow APM function for analytics, reporting, and BI initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, business process architecture, or a related technical field.

  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.

  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

  • Experience with integration technologies and API management.

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to senior and C-level stakeholders.

  • Adaptability to evolving technology landscapes and changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MSc, MBA, or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field.

  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Global or multi-national organization experience.

  • Demonstrated success implementing modern business process and technology solutions.

Travel Requirements:

Up to 20% travel may be required for meetings, collaboration, and training.

The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000–$170,000 including bonus. Starting pay depends on factors such as skills, experience, and location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
