This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, working across a portfolio of commercial platforms to translate complex business needs into well-defined system solutions.
      • As an IT Business Analyst, you will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, supporting the full lifecycle of system changes, from requirements gathering and design through testing, deployment, and documentation. You bring a structured, analytical mindset and are equally comfortable leading a requirements workshop, writing a user story, or digging into a data discrepancy with SQL.
    • Primary Responsibilities:
      • Partner with business stakeholders to understand, capture, and translate complex commercial and finance requirements into clear, actionable system specifications.
      • Support project coordination activities including milestone tracking, status reporting, and cross team dependency management to keep delivery on track
      • Operate as an effective member of blended delivery teams, supporting end-to-end system changes through Client’s System Lifecycle (SLC) framework,  from initiation and design through testing and deployment
      • Analyze proposed system changes and new technical opportunities; assess and clearly communicate impacts, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences
      • Perform hands-on data analysis using SQL to investigate issues, validate outputs, and deliver accurate, audience-appropriate insights across a range of business and technical stakeholders
      • Contribute to business case development for new initiatives; proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
      • Create and maintain high-quality system documentation- including functional specifications, process flows, data dictionaries, and knowledge base articles — to support a robust and shared understanding of supported applications
      • Elicit, author, and refine agile user stories, requirements specifications, business process documentation, and solution design artifacts
      • Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities - including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) - to ensure delivered solutions meet defined business acceptance criteria
      • Ensure all delivery activities adhere to Client's division and corporate compliance standards, including change management and documentation requirements in ServiceNow and Kneat SLC
    • Required Qualifications:
      • 4–7 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst or equivalent role; candidates with strong relevant experience at the lower end of the range will be considered
      • Proficiency in SQL for data querying, investigation, and validation across relational data environments
      • Demonstrated SDLC experience- with working knowledge of both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
      • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for change management, incident tracking, or IT service management workflows
      • Exceptional documentation skills:  ability to produce clear, structured, and well-organized artifacts for both technical and business audiences
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of translating ambiguous business needs into well-defined requirements
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills- comfortable facilitating working sessions and presenting findings to varied audiences
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences commercial environments,  particularly in areas such as revenue management, gross-to-net, rebates, or pricing
      • Familiarity with commercial and revenue management platforms (e.g. Model N Powered by N, Kernel Open Pharma, Flex or similar)
      • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as QlikView, Power BI, or Cognos
      • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms or data lake environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
      • Prior experience maintaining system documentation within Kneat SLC or equivalent quality/lifecycle management tools
