- Role:
- Client’s US Commercial Finance to support and enhance
the systems and data capabilities that underpin revenue management,
rebate processing, and commercial reporting. This role sits at the
intersection of business and technology, working across a portfolio
of commercial platforms to translate complex business needs into
well-defined system solutions.
- As an
IT Business Analyst, you will serve as a key liaison between business
stakeholders and technical delivery teams, supporting the full lifecycle
of system changes, from requirements gathering and design through
testing, deployment, and documentation. You bring a structured,
analytical mindset and are equally comfortable leading a requirements
workshop, writing a user story, or digging into a data discrepancy with
SQL.

Responsibilities:
- Partner
with business stakeholders to understand, capture, and translate complex
commercial and finance requirements into clear, actionable system
specifications.
- Support project coordination activities
including milestone tracking, status reporting, and cross team
dependency management to keep delivery on track
- Operate as an effective member of blended
delivery teams, supporting end-to-end system changes through Client’s System Lifecycle (SLC) framework, from
initiation and design through testing and deployment
- Analyze proposed system changes and new
technical opportunities; assess and clearly communicate impacts, risks,
and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Perform
hands-on data analysis using SQL to investigate issues, validate
outputs, and deliver accurate, audience-appropriate insights across a
range of business and technical stakeholders
- Contribute
to business case development for new initiatives; proactively identify
and recommend opportunities for process improvement and operational
efficiency
- Create and maintain high-quality system
documentation- including functional specifications, process flows, data
dictionaries, and knowledge base articles — to support a robust and
shared understanding of supported applications
- Elicit, author, and refine agile user stories,
requirements specifications, business process documentation, and
solution design artifacts
- Plan, coordinate, and execute testing
activities - including system integration testing (SIT) and user
acceptance testing (UAT) - to ensure delivered solutions meet defined
business acceptance criteria
- Ensure all delivery activities adhere to Client's division and corporate compliance standards,
including change management and documentation requirements in ServiceNow
and Kneat SLC
- Required
Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of experience in an IT Business
Analyst or equivalent role; candidates with strong relevant experience
at the lower end of the range will be considered
- Proficiency
in SQL for data querying, investigation, and validation across
relational data environments
- Demonstrated SDLC experience- with working
knowledge of both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
- Hands-on
experience with ServiceNow for change management, incident tracking, or
IT service management workflows
- Exceptional documentation skills: ability
to produce clear, structured, and well-organized artifacts for both
technical and business audiences
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of
translating ambiguous business needs into well-defined requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder
management skills- comfortable facilitating working sessions and
presenting findings to varied audiences
- Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience
working in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences commercial
environments, particularly in areas such as revenue management,
gross-to-net, rebates, or pricing
- Familiarity with commercial and revenue
management platforms (e.g. Model N Powered by N, Kernel Open Pharma,
Flex or similar)
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools
such as QlikView, Power BI, or Cognos
- Exposure
to cloud-based data platforms or data lake environments (e.g., AWS,
Azure)
- Prior experience maintaining system
documentation within Kneat SLC or equivalent quality/lifecycle
management tools
