Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
  • Develop, Calibrate and Maintain In-Line Split Detection system by continuous monitoring, iterations and feedback loops with the team
  • Assure that customer goals, specifications and requirements are met and support departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures
  • Confirm control plan for launch with Quality.
  • Identify root cause, develop corrective actions, and assure timely response to resolving customer quality concerns and/or delivery issues.
  • Improve launch's performance in material management, scrap, labor, and operational spending to achieve facility's budge and meeting world class manufacturing.
  • Validate poke yokes in place are properly operating.
  • Tests run-at-rate, confirm final run-at-rate.
  • Drive the T1/T2/T3 and agree every step
  • Involved in spare parts lists/entry into SAP/budget
  • Manage hand off from project team to production
  • Holds regularly scheduled production review meetings with a cross-functional team to review any safety issues or concerns, customer quality concerns, delivery issues, and performance problems in the launch. (LOP / APQP / Shop Floor)
  • Communicates Launch Readiness Reviews
  • Maintains Launch KPI's.
  • Perform other duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical, or similar related field.

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:
  • Five plus years' experience in manufacturing Industry
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and partners to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Knowledge of automotive, robotics, or vision systems, particularly in areas like quality & manufacturing systems or automation.
  • Ability to write code in Python, OpenCV, MQTT, JSON, Linux (Ubuntu)
  • Database management (MS SQL), React, HTML

Pay range: $65,000 - $85,000 annual salary
