The Investor Services Specialist will play a critical role in managing the daily flow of Investor Relations operations, including processing capital activity, coordinating investor and administrator requests, and ensuring the accuracy of internal reporting and records. This role combines exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple workstreams in a high-accountability environment. Reporting to the Senior Investor Relations Manager, this role serves as a central hub for day-to-day investor operations. The successful candidate will collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely and high-quality service to institutional investors and support our internal processes. This role is a means to make a difference: the client service processes you lead will directly enhance Voleon’s leading position in the world of quantitative finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily investor operations, including processing subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers in coordination with the fund administrator
- Track and prioritize incoming inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to both internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure accurate and complete internal reporting, collaborating with colleagues in Investor Relations, Legal, Operations, and Compliance
- Contribute to process improvements, identifying operational risks or inefficiencies and proposing solutions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in client service or investor relations at a hedge fund, asset manager, or similar financial institution
- Demonstrated ability to manage capital activity, reporting workflows, or reconciliation processes in a deadline-driven environment
- Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and remain detail-oriented under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with professionalism in all stakeholder interactions
- Confidence working with internal systems and data, including fund documentation and workflow tracking tools
- Eagerness to work with diverse teams
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, finance, or quantitative discipline or equivalent applied experience
- Ability to travel regularly to our Berkeley office if working remotely
The base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $115,00 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
