GENERAL FUNCTION: Under minimal supervision responsible for preparing and reconciling complex monthly investor reporting and remittances. Process all cash movement and related general ledger entries along with responding to internal and external inquiries related to investor reporting.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensuresthatactions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process, reconcile and prepare investor reports for more complex portfolios adhering to investors servicing guide or agreements.
  • Reconciles investor remittances up to $40,000,000
  • Maintain and enhance procedures and controls relating to daily, weekly and monthly reporting activity.
  • Assists in the preparation of annual external audit, internal audit, and investor audits.
  • Assists, as needed, with resolving any reporting and remitting discrepancies with the investors.
  • Ensures tasks are performed in accordance to investors' guidelines/timelines.
  • Point of contact for investors regarding outstanding checks, stop payments, remittance and reporting differences.
  • Provide key support and data to resolve any outstanding compliance or regulatory issues.
  • Partners with other departments to assure that investor guidelines are met.
  • Monitor, research and resolve unapplied funds and outstanding receivables
  • Reviews internal/external reporting at month end.
  • Performs necessary research to assist other departments in resolving issues.
  • Posts data into ACE/MortgageServ.
  • Ensure that remittances are completed accurately and within required timelines.
  • Support projects and initiatives relating to enhancements to the investor reporting system.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • MSP experience (preferred)
  • 1-3 years' experience in Mortgage Banking or Investor Reporting, account reconciliations and research.
  • Prior experience with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and Ginnie Mae preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Total Base Pay Range 54,400.00 - 111,500.00 USD Annual
