The Investment Operations Senior Analyst/Associate will work on the coordination, execution and settlement of various Private Debt Investments. The Senior Analyst/Associate will be in contact with professionals across the company and will work with different external parties.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, execute and settle primary third-party fund investments
  • Coordinate, execute and settle secondary market transactions:
    • Purchases / sells / transfers / switches of fund positions
    • Transfers of private debt portfolios
    • Transfers of single private debt loans
  • Coordinate, execute and settle non-standard Private Debt Co-Investments
  • Coordinate settlement of capital calls for closed-ended third-party funds
  • Collaborate with internal teams, custodians, board of directors, external fund administrators and investment managers
  • Update trade trackers and ensure information flow to relevant stakeholders
  • Participate in all pre-trade and post-trade calls and relevant approval committees
  • Respond to trade related queries from internal teams and external fund administrators
  • Perform other duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate
 Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in Middle office or other investment fund related role is preferred but not necessary
  • Experience in fund-of-fund trading or Private Debt is a plus
  • Demonstrates commitment, accuracy and attention to detail, even in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities assigned
  • Ability to prioritize activities while working on multiple projects and achieve target deadlines
  • Highly motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Passion for fast-paced learning, especially in a technology-enabled environment
  • Good analytical skills with a flair for processes as well as good IT skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Salary Range
At Petra Funds Group, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring practices. The compensation range for this position is $82,000 - $123,000 per year. This range represents the base salary only. Actual pay will depend on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills.
