About the role

The Investment Operations Analyst is responsible for executing and managing day-to-day operational processes that support asset origination, funding, settlement, valuation, and investor reporting activities. This role partners closely with Asset Management, Finance, Treasury, and Capital Markets to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of investment operations. The Investment Operations Analyst plays a key role in maintaining operational continuity, supporting transaction execution, and strengthening the scalability and reliability of investment operations. 

What you'll do
  • Process daily funding requests for assets.  
  • Manage asset verification for funding, initiate requests to facility partners, and partner with the Treasury team to ensure timely release of funds to the title company. 
  • Monitor and validate all asset related cash transactions and asset transactions 
  • Run daily settlements for assets that have been repaid and process settlements to investors 
  • Monitor processes that manage and monitor weekly valuations and notable credit changes in our assets 
  • Monitoring and reporting on collateral custody status with our collateral agents 
  • Run finance related daily operations for Unlock’s originations and secondary transactions with investors including Trade Ticketing & Settlement, Collateral Review & Movement, Daily asset fundings, Investor Reporting, Ad-hoc investor data and analysis requests 
  • Partner with developers regarding requirements, discuss proposals, and implement new solutions that improve our process and capabilities 
  • Maintain tools and dashboards used to streamline Investment Ops functions and analyses 
  • Provide feedback to senior technical developers to continuously iterate on and improve existing workflows
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a Finance Operations role or Middle Office Position 
  • High degree of proficiency and autonomy in Excel 
  • Passion and ability for self-automation using some combination of Excel Macros, SQL, VBA, Python and Tableau 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in Finance, MBS, Real Estate, Lending, Trading, and/or Treasury is a plus
  • Advanced experience with SQL or other technical tools preferred
  • Experience working in an Operations capacity on a Trading Floor, Asset Manager, and/or Treasury function preferred

Target base compensation is $90,000 - $100,000 annually. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
