Job Description: Investment Operations Analyst
 

How will this role contribute to our collective success?
 

The Investment Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the Fixed Income Investments team by ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of investment operations.

Through meticulous reporting, coordination of key meetings, and seamless execution of cash and security transactions, this role enhances decision-making and operational agility. By maintaining compliance with regulatory and governance standards, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and driving process improvements through automation and technology, the analyst helps safeguard the firm’s financial health and contributes meaningfully to its strategic investment objectives.

What will you do in this role?
 

  • Prepare and format fixed income reports and presentations for key committees using MS Office and AI tools.

  • Manage scheduling and materials for investment meetings and reviews.

  • Draft and issue professional correspondence to third-party investment managers

  • Maintain investment documents and filing systems for secure record-keeping.

  • Respond to client and internal inquiries by phone or email, conducting research and redirecting as appropriate to ensure timely and accurate

  • resolution.

  • Execute cash and security movements to support liquidity and compliance.

  • Monitor trust structures and ensure compliance with agreements and regulations.

  • Assist with investment custody relationships and banking account information, ensuring accuracy and readiness for cash and investment transactions.

  • Assist with maintaining the risk system for accuracy.

  • Maintain and distribute investment policies to ensure regulatory alignment.

  • Enter investment data and support automation to improve efficiency.

  • Partner with teams and vendors to support investment operations.

  • Stay informed of industry and technological developments, regulatory changes, and best practices.

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

About You:

What you need to have:
 

  • A university degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline.

  • What we prefer you to have:

  • 1+ years of experience in the (re)insurance or investment industry

  • Interest in pursuing internationally recognized professional designation (e.g., CFA, CA, CPA)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with AI-enabled platforms

  • High attention to detail and accuracy, strong work ethic, and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.

Role Factors:
 

In this role, you will be required to work in the office.

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $95,000 - $120,000 (Bermuda). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.  

In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
