We are seeking a talented individual with solid investment knowledge, to join our Investment Solutions International Client Team at Mercer at Mercer. This role will be based in Dublin. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
In addition to this, the ideal candidate should possess a client-facing personality and a strong focus on delivering exceptional service to clients.
What can you expect:
An exciting opportunity to join one of Mercer’s largest and most rapidly-growing business areas – investment solutions. As part of our Investment Solutions International Client Team, the successful candidate will support Mercer’s investment solutions client base across Ireland, wider Europe and Asia.
The candidate will work closely with our Investment Directors and Client Managers to support a selection of our International clients. As part of the International Client Team, the successful candidate will develop an intricate knowledge of Mercer’s investment research and fund solutions by liaising on an ongoing basis with operational, portfolio management and research teams, and help to filter this expertise across Mercer’s teams of field consultants and clients.
We will rely on you to:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Mercer’s delegated fund structures and solutions in order to explain and communicate to colleagues and clients.
- Support the development of Mercer’s overall client-service delivery across the entire Investment Solutions client base.
- Provide support to the Investment Director and Client Manager in preparing for client meetings.
- Liaise with wider operational, portfolio management and consulting teams across Mercer, including management of a wide range of projects as they arise.
- Deliver investment output & documentation within critical timelines.
What you need to have:
- Investment analyst experience.
- Knowledge and experience of investment markets across range of assets.
- Would suit Actuary or CFA Candidate.
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a simple and coherent manner.
- Energy, proactivity and desire to see things done efficiently.
- Attention to detail, strong project management skills.
- A client-facing personality.
- Strong IT skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
