Citizens is seeking an experienced Debt Capital Markets Associate to support the aligned industry team. Primary responsibilities include
- Associate will work in the aligned industry team as part of our investment banking team on both business development and execution and should expect a wide variety of projects and as much responsibility as capabilities and experience allow
- Clients include a broad variety of both public companies and family and sponsor owned private companies.
- Associates will work directly with senior bankers and client senior management teams throughout all phases of transaction development and execution.
- Prepare valuation materials for public and private companies utilizing various methodologies including comparable company, discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout and precedent transaction analysis .
- Prepare financial models that include company specific projections as well as merger, internal rate of return and accretion/dilution analysis.
- Perform in-depth analysis of industries/market conditions and companies’ competitive positioning.
- Contribute to the development of pitch materials and advice to clients.
- Conduct due diligence through management meetings, industry research and on-site inspections.
- Work with senior team members and management teams to develop marketing materials including deal teasers, confidential information memorandum and management presentations.
- Lead construction of data rooms for buyer diligence.
- Assist with legal documentation.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- We seek multi-faceted, results-driven, creative individuals ideally with 2-4 years experience in Investment Banking or in the Big 4 Deals Advisory practice, who can generate ideas and execute them successfully as part of a dynamic team.
- You will need to demonstrate superior problem solving and analytical capabilities accompanied by evidence of academic excellence and a strong work ethic.
- You should have a track record of showing leadership and teamwork aptitudes, as well as display exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- A strong attention to detail and focus on quality of client deliverables is essential.
