- Provide sales and marketing support of Foresters Financial products across all business lines to drive sales
- Educate and sell the benefits of Foresters Financial products and Member Benefits
- Work with agents to identify client needs and recommend product offerings and marketing strategies
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training
- Provide high level of sales support in answering customer inquiries and solving customer challenges
- Use selling skills to convert opportunities to sales
- Support and execute on all sales & marketing initiatives and corporate strategies as set by management
- Expected to meet all core call related metrics as set forth by management
- Utilize systems, technology and tools to track activities and profile agent data in effort to expand reach of product distribution
- Develop and enhance personal industry and product knowledge to effectively communicate and build credibility with agents
- Maintain a proactive and supportive relationship with sales, marketing, operations teams, and all internal partners
- Provide daily/weekly feedback on sales related activity
- Represent Foresters in a professional manner to all internal/external customers both on the telephone and through attendance at selected events
- Make sound business decisions in terms of prioritizing and managing workload to ensure completion
- Adhere to the rules and practices set forth by Compliance
- Education (minimum required): Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience (minimum required): A minimum of one year experience in a sales profession or financial services industry
- Knowledge of life and annuity insurance products and services preferred
- Strong sales ability along with effective telephone and customer relationship building skills
- Ability to self-manage workload volumes to achieve or exceed goals and changing priorities in a team environment
- Top notch phone etiquette and excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written required
- Ability to organize and communicate complex information while navigating multiple systems in order to meet customer expectations
- Strong results-oriented focus, strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to absorb and diffuse customer emotions
- Demonstrates initiative, creativity and resourcefulness
- Bilingualism (Spanish) is a plus but not required

Hours of Operation:
- The role requires working hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm (CST), Monday to Friday. Hours of operation could change and require flexibility. Flexibility regarding hours of work is required due to changing conditions, call volumes and business needs.
The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan, results are subject to both individual and company performance.
