Job Overview:

The primary purpose of the Internal Advisory Consultant (IAC) role is to further drive adoption of LPL's fee-based platforms and marketing efforts among Financial Advisors within a specific territory or channel. This is achieved by providing effective communication and positioning of the various advisory platforms offered, while also advancing consultative conversations about product features, benefits such as pricing, competitive comparisons, LPL Research recommendations, tools and technology, and much more.

Responsibilities:

  • Most importantly, the Internal Advisory Consultant will proactively provide comprehensive consultations educating advisors on the available fee-based platforms LPL has to offer.

  • The IAC is viewed as a subject matter expert by LPL and key contact for advisors.

  • The successful IAC must also demonstrate a high level of professionalism and knowledge to become a trusted partner for financial advisors.

  • The split between proactive and reactive outreach is 80/20.

  • Consult on Individual Case Design

  • Provide Point of Sale support

  • Conduct Practice Analysis

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry

  • A Drive for Professional Growth and Development

  • Demonstrated ability to use independent judgement to make decisions and solve problems

  • FINRA Series 7 and 65/66 required


 

Pay Range:

$72,300-$120,500/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
