This role will directly support the Client Experience function and work closely with the Sales organization. The intern will conduct research and analysis to inform strategic account planning, sales enablement, and client engagement efforts across ProPharma. The role will involve gathering, synthesizing, and organizing information related to priority clients, buyer groups, and market dynamics to support commercial growth and internal decision-making.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct research on priority life sciences clients, including company backgrounds, organizational structures, and strategic focus areas

  • Support development of client and account profiles to inform sales and account planning efforts

  • Research buyer groups, functional roles, and decision-making structures within client organizations, including regional and functional perspectives

  • Assist with research related to enterprise procurement processes and vendor engagement models at large organizations

  • Monitor relevant industry news, market developments, and company announcements

  • Synthesize research into clear written summaries, briefs, or internal reference materials

  • Support broader sales enablement and client experience initiatives as needed

  • Maintain organized research files and trackers to support ongoing and future work

  • Perform additional tasks and research as requested

Necessary Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information

  • Intellectually curious and comfortable working with ambiguity

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently in an office environment and manage multiple workstreams

  • Comfortable handling confidential or sensitive information

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Educational Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in at least junior or senior year of undergraduate studies. Open to graduate students as well.

Experience Requirements:

  • Prior coursework or experience in business, strategy, life sciences, or a related field preferred

  • Prior internship, research, or analytical experience a plus, but not required

  • Healthcare / Life Sciences industry knowledge preferred but not required
