Job Summary
We’re looking for a thoughtful and curious Product Design Intern to join our design team and help shape the experience of a growing medical AI platform used by healthcare professionals and life sciences organizations. You’ll work closely with the Lead Product Designer on real product challenges across both Impiricus and DocUpdate, contributing to UX flows, interaction design, visual systems, and product thinking. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how modern digital products are designed and shipped in a fast-moving startup environment. Because our products operate in healthcare, the work requires careful thinking around clarity, trust, and usability. You’ll gain experience designing for complex workflows while helping create experiences that feel intuitive and human.
Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Support end-to-end product design across features and workflows within the Impiricus and DocUpdate platforms
  • Create flows, and high-fidelity UI designs for new product features
  • Contribute to our design system and component library to maintain consistency across products
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to refine ideas and bring designs to life
  • Participate in design critiques and feedback sessions
  • Assist with user research, usability testing when exploring new product opportunities
  • Help maintain documentation and organization within our design files and systems

Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX/UI, HCI, or a related field
  • A portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and visual design skills
  • Strong curiosity about how digital products are designed and built
  • Interest in complex problem spaces like healthcare, data, or AI
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and receive feedback constructively
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or similar


Compensation:

This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of $25, with interns working up to 40 hours per week.

The program runs for 8 weeks and will be offered in two cohorts. Candidates may participate in the cohort that best aligns with their summer schedule.

Cohort: July 6, 2026 through August 28, 2026
