Job Summary

Are you passionate about Mechanical Engineering? Introba is looking for an Intern to join our Buildings team in San Diego for the Summer of 2026. This internship is your chance to be part of a collaborative community where you can expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills through hands-on, meaningful work.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Will Do

  • Assist with all aspects of design and may work with the construction team. This work can include hands-on engineering work such as calculations and simulation, drafting, 3D modeling, on-site observation of construction and business aspects such as preparing for presentations and maintaining project files. An intern may also be exposed to other related design disciplines, such as plumbing and electrical systems.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also able to effectively collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong commitment to integrity, consistently demonstrating ethical, fair, and responsible behavior
  • Commitment to innovation and continuous learning, with a passion for acquiring new skills and driving improvements

Your Education and Experience

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required
  • Proficient with AutoCad and Revit
  • Strong spatial perception and visualizations skills
  • Strong computer skills including familiarity with MS Office Suite
  • General understanding of engineering/construction documentation is preferred
