The Marketing Intern supports the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing initiatives that strengthen audience engagement and accelerate pipeline development. This role provides hands-on experience working with CRM systems, campaign workflows, and content processes to help drive effective lead nurturing and conversion.

They will collaborate with team members to support webinar and event activities and assist in preparing creative briefs for cross‑functional partners. Additionally, the intern will contribute to content publishing efforts, including posting blogs and supporting general content management needs. Through this experience, the intern will gain practical exposure to digital marketing operations, campaign execution, and the end‑to‑end marketing lifecycle within a fast‑paced professional environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Support CRM maintenance by tracking MQL → SQL movement and identifying stalled or inactive opportunities

  • Provide content support across marketing initiatives by assisting with research, drafting, editing, and organizing digital content for campaigns, social media, and website updates

  • Assist with campaign setup, execution, and monitoring across email, digital, and event channels

  • Help segment and prepare targeted lists for webinars, events, and follow‑up outreach

  • Support webinar and event operations, including attendee list management and post‑event nurturing activities

  • Assist in developing creative briefs by gathering requirements, organizing project details, and coordinating with internal teams

  • Help publish and manage blog content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency

  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and compile summaries or performance snapshots for team review

  • Maintain organized documentation for campaign processes, lists, and creative workflows

  • Collaborate with team members to support marketing requests and special projects as assigned

Necessary Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of CRM platforms and marketing automation concepts

  • Foundational knowledge of campaign workflows and lead lifecycle stages (e.g., MQL, SQL)

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tactics, including email marketing, events/webinars, and content publishing

  • Detail‑oriented mindset with strong organizational and coordination abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment

  • Proficiency with common business tools such as Microsoft Office; experience with marketing platforms is a plus

  • Regulatory Science experience preferred; but not required

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Educational Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in at least junior or senior year of undergraduate studies. Open to graduate students as well.
