Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Sales Intern to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting priorities, following through on commitments, and collaborating effectively with diverse teams of people to contribute to our digital growth aspirations.

Our internship program is designed to empower top early career talent with an exciting, unique, and invaluable experience through meaningful and impactful work.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct Targeted Outreach: Execute lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying leads, proactively scheduling calls with prospective clients via phone and email, including cold calling.

  • Collaborate on Strategy: Partner with Subject Matter Experts to create customized strategic plans for sales territories, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Additionally, coordinate internal staff to ensure the right individuals are present to support prospective clients during sales pitch calls and/or sales presentations.

  • Utilize Business Acumen: Research companies, business trends, and competitive intelligence to create detailed, research-based strategic communication plans.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant Academic Pursuit: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field of study, with an expectation that the degree will be obtained after May 2027.

  • Program Eligibility: Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship, authorized to work in the United States without restriction, and located in the continental United States for the duration of the program.

  • Proven Ability in Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members and leadership.

  • Strong Work Ethic & Drive: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality output in a timely and consistent manner, coupled with the ability to self-direct and demonstrate a competitive drive and initiative.

What We Offer

  • Location: This role is in person in the Tampa, Florida area.

  • Compensation: The compensation for this role is $25.00+ per hour.

  • Program Structure: This is a 40-hour per week assignment, lasting 10 weeks, with an expected start date of May 27 – August 7, 2026

  • Professional Growth: Experience structured development over the 10-week program, including professional skills training, business acumen development, speaker series, consistent feedback, evaluation, and networking with other interns and adept professionals.
