Intern - Corporate Audit Services (Internal Audit)

Corporate Audit Services (Internal Audit’s) mission is to enhance and protect organizational value, by providing risk based and objective assurance advice and insight to CCSI management and employees.   The Intern role is an opportunity to learn about the auditing field and gain business experience  within a publicly traded company that offers a dynamic and remote work environment.

• Assist with the risk-based financial and compliance audits, which involves examining financial records, testing internal controls, and identifying audit discrepancies with prudent care, quality and accuracy. 
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

What you will bring to the table…

• Currently enrolled in College undergraduate or graduate program with focus in Accounting, Finance and/or Information Systems.
• Coursework within undergraduate or graduate program with focus in Accounting, Finance and/or Information Systems. Business experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of how to use the basics of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (e.g., Documents, Sheets).
• Proactive, analytical thinker with the ability to understand and execute instructed responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Take control of areas assigned with enthusiasm and diligence..
• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Intellectual curiosity to learn and adopt emerging technologies and tools.

You will stand out if you also have…

• Previous experience working in a company environment as an intern or other role.
• Knowledge of and experience with data analysis and data insights projects.
• Completed college introductory / Intermediate accounting, auditing and / or information systems courses.

The salary for this role is $25.00 an hour.  The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits. This job doesn't have an expiration date and will remain open until a qualified candidate is hired.
