Intern (Capital Markets)

Job Description Summary

Responsible for providing assistance to a team of Commercial Brokers focused on Capital Markets Investment Sales.
This internship will be onsite five days a week in Center City Charlotte, NC.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Respond to requests for information and analysis to help coordinate client information
  • Review the team’s database and assist with keeping clients’ contact information updated
  • Research economic, demographic and real estate market data
  • Type and design general correspondences, memos, proposals, agreements, charts, tables, graphs
  • Contribute to special projects in support of business development

Requirements

  • Currently in pursuit of bachelor’s degree, preferably obtaining a degree in Real Estate
  • Rising Junior or Senior preferred
  • Passion for learning the commercial real estate industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail oriented and thorough
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high initiative, flexibility, and team approach to work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment
