Job Summary

Keyfactor is seeking a Release Engineer for the Keyfactor Integrations Team to manage our public and private GitHub repositories and the integration software solutions contained within. Keyfactor has a variety of enterprise grade applications targeted at managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). These applications often need to be connected or integrated with 3rd party systems and the Integrations Team builds these connections.

Keyfactor primarily uses GitHub to publish integration software that works with the Keyfactor platform. We seek an individual who will ensure that Keyfactor’s public GitHub presence remains both professional in appearance and useful to our customers, partners, and members of the open-source community.

The role reports to and primarily works with our software integration team, but will also work with our solution engineering, marketing, and other departments.

Applicants must hold US citizenship or US permanent resident status.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Manage Keyfactor’s GitHub repositories, both public and private
  • Manage public integration releases by ensuring process and criteria met for public repositories
  • Monitor and manage external access to private repositories
  • Maintain and document integration release processes
  • Maintain and document GitHub actions and build pipelines for Keyfactor integrations
  • Coordinate testing of integrations after Keyfactor platform releases
  • Test/Evaluate/Update integration documentation
  • Route GitHub issues and other inquiries to appropriate staff
  • Coordinate with marketing around new public releases / updates
  • Coordinate with Integration Engineers
  • Coordinate with other Keyfactor departments that contribute to GitHub repositories
  • Ensure various integration catalogs (GitHub / DevOps / Internal) are consistent (descriptions, status, etc.)
  • Assist integration developers with build and release processes

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills: 

  • Thorough understanding of Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
  • Solid communication skills
  • Experience working with software development teams
  • Experience working in enterprise environments
  • Sufficient software development background to be able to automate builds, CI pipelines, and to work with .NET and Go based applications and libraries
  • Sufficient IT background to be able to perform general operating system, application, and container installation as well as perform administrative tasks on Linux and Windows platforms
  • Familiarity of Public Key Infrastructure is a plus
