Instructional Designer - (Contractor)
About the Role
We're seeking a contract Instructional Designer to develop and manage engaging learning experiences for engineering leaders and teams using Jellyfish. This individual will play a key role in updating existing courses and developing new, engaging educational content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, curriculum development, and e-learning platforms. This role will focus on creating learner-centric educational content for our learning platform, Jellyfish Academy.

Scope of Work

Develop comprehensive learning modules for Jellyfish Academy

Create diverse learning materials, which could including online courses, videos, and one-pagers

Update existing course content to reflect recent product changes, feature releases, and platform updates

Utilize e-learning authoring tools to create and publish course content.

Collaborate with internal teams and SMEs to understand platform capabilities and user needs

Design learning content that supports customer onboarding and platform mastery

Let’s talk about what you need to excel:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field

Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle

Proven experience in customer education and instructional design

Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional strategies

Strong understanding of software development practices and tools
-
Excellent communication and content creation skills
-
Experience with learning management systems (LMS), and authoring tools (Articulate) is a plus.
