About Your Role

An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced and customer-centric Instore Support Representative – Team Leader to join our high-performing Construction Industries team, based at our Beaudesert Road office.

In this leadership position, you will manage the Instore Support Representative team, ensuring adherence to PAR requirements, revenue growth, KPIs and CX targets. Your goal is to drive the sales and growth of new machines, used equipment, rental parts and services for small to medium customers not assigned to a Customer Support Representative, using business tools, technical knowledge and marketing leads.

Reporting to the Manager - Building Construction Industries, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating an inviting retail environment that attracts and engages customers at the Beaudesert Road branch.
  • Overseeing daily front office coverage with a rotating team of ISRs, ensuring exceptional customer experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive lead generation lists to help meet BCI sales targets.
  • Generate weekly reports to feed the sales funnel for the BCI Sales Team.
  • Report on key CI metrics, including customer coverage, lead and opportunity management and campaign results.
  • Ensuring CRM accuracy and development.
  • Facilitate a seamless, world-class customer handover experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing team on campaigns to maintain a constant lead generation and sales conversion environment.
  • Develop a communication plan to keep Hastings Deering employees and locations informed of promotions and campaigns.
  • Ensure all locations meet brand standards and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain machine displays and the dig area for optimal retail presentation.

About You

You will bring the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales and marketing role, ideally in a diversified company.
  • Proven success in meeting CAT brand standards and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • A track record of driving telephone marketing or lead generation in the Earthmoving or similar industry.
  • Experience in the Earthmoving industry, particularly in Compact construction equipment sales.
