Wells Fargo seeks an Institutional Investment Operations Specialist for The Structured Products Group (SPG) Team in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Lending Operations, supporting the firm's fastest-growing business. The Institutional Investment Operations Specialist will work to support complex deals, partner directly with the internal and external clients, and work to identify way to enhance the client and processing experience.

The Institutional Investment Operations Specialist will work to support complex deals, partner directly with the internal and external clients, and work to identify way to enhance the client and processing experience.
In this role, you will:
- Provide lifecycle support for the structured loan portfolio.
- Read, interpret, and apply knowledge for Loan Agreements
- Coordinate client onboarding processes, manage payments, oversee internal customer service, handle funding operations, administer customer billing across the structured loan operations lifecycle.
- Review and analyze complex operational tasks that require in-depth evaluation to drive resolution.
- Contribute to large scale projects related to process, procedures and efficiencies with internal and industry related initiatives.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.
- Provide leadership to bring groups together to resolve multi-faceted complex issues.
- 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Candidates should have an understanding of loan, securities, and finance terms and be able to explain these topics to junior members and act as a risk control mitigator.
- Proficiency with loan system workflow, specifically LoanIQ and/or nCino.
- Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule at the posted location listed.
