LOCATION TYPE: Remote

WORK HOURS: 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

A Varsity Spirit Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for working an open territory as assigned by the Inside Sales Manager.  They will work closely with the Regional Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, and State Directors to ensure sales goals are met.  They will also be responsible for researching accounts to ensure accurate account information is maintained in the system.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Increase individual territory sales by building relationships with new and existing customers
  • Listen to a customer’s needs and present products based on customer knowledge, insight and intuition
  • Coordinate garments that mix-and-match for a complete wardrobe at a great value
  • Generate excitement and educate customers about VSF products
  • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Outside Sales Representatives to ensure all customer needs are satisfied, including, but not limited to fittings, consultations, returns, and exchanges

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Maintain a positive, encouraging attitude at all times
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Outstanding organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize various projects and deadlines
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload
     

Education/Experience:

  • 1+ years sales experience (inside sales preferable)
  • Experience with Varsity’s products and internal procedures preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
  • Experience with the following systems/applications preferred:
    -Salesforce.com (CRM)
    -Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
     

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods of sitting and standing will all occur on a regular basis.
