Position Summary

As an Inside Account Manager, you will develop relationships with customers to sell layered applications, grow revenue and optimize customer experience. You will generate interest, qualify prospects, present solutions, close sales and ensure that the monthly goals are met. Through consultative selling you will work with customers to identify their needs and present solutions.

As part of the account team you will work closely with the outside account executive to help close more deals, manage the renewal cycle, prepare and conduct business reviews and work closely with implementation and support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

You will manage the customer relationship through daily communications and follow ups. If you are passionate to help customers and want to make a difference this is a role for you. Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Uncover dealer needs and present appropriate products and solutions

  • Follow up with the customer on any inbound leads within 24 hours

  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales quota

  • 70% Client time via phone calls, Emails and video conferences

  • Advance leads through the sales cycle 

  • Providing a high level of service and support is essential

  • Create, prepare and deliver presentations, quotes, proposals, summary documents, etc.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through continual customer engagement and follow up

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be customer focused and results driven

  • Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills

  • The ability to sell, negotiate, persuade and influence

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Knowledge of CDK products and services (training provided)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • 3+ sales experience – inside or outside – preferably in technology sales

  • Microsoft Office Skills

  • Experience using Salesforce.com

  • Automotive Experience, preferred

  • Strong desire and ability for advancement within the sales organization

Salary: Hourly rate of $28.85 ($60,000 annually) + Commissions
