Be part of the connection:
You research and develop value propositions that connect clients within unworked sales modules with our telecommunications products. After completing our award-winning training, you conduct outbound contact processes with the goal of scheduling and attending client discovery appointments. In this hybrid role, your quota structure is based on direct and overlay sales. You collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment.
How you can make a difference:
  • Complete our 10-week paid sales training that won a Brandon Hall Group gold award for excellence in Best Advance in Sales Enablement and Performance Tools.
  • Understand the business needs of small-to-medium clients to design a solution that meets their complex needs.
  • Use a collaborative programmatic campaign approach to pursue specific and targeted call lists.
  • Qualify leads and request site surveys to determine serviceability.
  • Contact existing clients to upsell new business and secure contract renewals.
  • Design, develop and present sales proposals and presentations to clients to close deals.

WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM BUSINESS
Required qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical skills: Knowledge of LAN, WAN, high-capacity networks and fiber connected networks.
  • Skills: Persuasive interpersonal communication skills over the phone; Networking, negotiation, closing and English communication skills.
  • Abilities: Quick learner with the ability to multitask while working within a team environment.

Preferred qualifications:
  • One or more years of sales experience in business development, sales development or prospecting.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Familiar with Salesforce or similar CRM.
