ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and implement the cloud security framework to support enterprise application and infrastructure security requirements.
- Ensure all cloud security controls align with business objectives, compliance standards, and performance goals.
- Design and document security architectures, including access control, encryption, logging, and monitoring in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Review, scan, and analyze application and infrastructure code to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediations.
- Use Burp Suite and other security testing tools to perform static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST).
- Transition cloud security implementation to cloud security-managed operations, including the handoff of controls, documentation, and training.
- Monitor, assess, and respond to cloud security threats, misconfigurations, and incidents.
- Maintain documentation for cloud security controls, architecture decisions, and compliance audits.
- Continuously evaluate and improve security tools, policies, and practices to support secure cloud adoption.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Application Security – 1+years
- Application Security Code Review – 1+years
- Security Risk Assessment – 1+years
- Application Security Reviews – 1+years
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
- Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Eligibility to receive Federal Public Trust clearance
- Established residency in the US for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Related Cloud/AWS Certification(s)
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent
