What You’ll Do
As a Infrastructure Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, development, scaling, and testing of the Gravwell SAAS infrastructure. You will be expected to take ownership of problems and work with the team to efficiently produce effective, well-tested and survivable solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, test, and deploy physical infrastructure for Gravwell SAAS
- Monitor hardware availability and load and coordinate procurement for system scaling and fault tolerance
- Design, deploy, and audit security profiles for Gravwell SAAS infrastructure
- Develop cloud control systems to simplify maintenance and configuration of Gravwell SAAS
- Coordinate with backend developers to integrate cloud control methodologies into core on-prem products
- Profiling and optimize SAAS hardware and software stacks
- Build intelligent alerting and monitoring systems for Gravwell SAAS.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar discipline.
- 3+ years of experience with memory management and distributed systems.
- Strong fundamentals including but not limited to:
- Linux
- Virtual machines
- Bare metal hardware
- Networking
- Virtual machine managers and virtual networking
- File systems
- Distributed systems

- Performance profiling

Compensation
Base Salary: $120,000 - $250,000
