U.S. D&A assists all business lines of MetLife's U.S. business (about 2/3 of MetLife Global by earnings) with everything related to data, analytics and data science, from data infrastructure, data governance, data engineering, data modeling, data analysis to business intelligence, data science and AI.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Architecture.
- Lead the design and implementation of Informatica MDM solutions supporting key enterprise domains (Customer, Party, Producer, etc.).
- Serve as the primary technical expert for MDM architecture within the MetLife ecosystem.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to MetLife architecture standards, security policies, and data governance requirements.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to evolve MDM patterns, platform capabilities, and integration frameworks.
- Solution Delivery & Engineering,
- Configure and optimize the MDM Hub including trust/survivorship rules, match/merge logic, cleansing rules, hierarchies, and workflows.
- Build and maintain integrations between MDM and enterprise systems using IDQ, IICS, PowerCenter, APIs, event streams, and cloud-native services.
- Partner closely with data governance and stewardship teams to operationalize business rules, Golden Record definitions, and stewardship processes.
- Ensure solutions meet MetLife standards for quality, performance, scalability, and resiliency.
- Operations & Continuous Improvement.
- Support production operations in coordination with MDH Operations, ensuring MDM platforms run efficiently and reliably.
- Lead root-cause analysis for incidents and drive proactive improvements in stability and data quality.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with product owners to develop the MDM roadmap.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or 4-year college degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field required.
- 5 - 8+ years of experience in data management, data integration, or data engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica MDM (10.x or higher).
- Deep expertise in most of the following:
- MDM Hub configuration
- Trust and survivorship algorithms
- Match/merge logic
- SIF APIs, REST APIs, and batch integrations
- IDD configuration
- Data modeling and hierarchy management
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases (ex: DB2 or UDB).
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based MDM or hybrid environments.
- Experience building integrations using IDQ, IICS, or PowerCenter.
- Experience building Java components for informatica MDM.
- Experience working in large, global enterprises or regulated industries (financial services, insurance, healthcare).
- Familiarity with data stewardship, data governance, and Golden Record management.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
- Experience supporting operational platforms such as Hadoop, data lakes, or customer/enterprise data platforms.
- Experience with web technologies like WebSphere or WebLogic.
