- At least 4 years of experience in Software development life cycle
- At least 4 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and Informatica ETL tool – MUST
- At least 2 years of experience in Teradata - MUST
- At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects.
- At least 3 years of experience in Design and Architecture review
- At least 3 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Informatica and Oracle Projects.
- Knowledge of Informatica Architecture, Projection Design, ETL flow, advanced SQLs
- Knowledge of data loading techniques using Informatica tool.
- Knowledge Best Practices in Informatica, Performance improvements, implementing CDC, UDFs
- Strong knowledge of Teradata Architecture: Nodes (AMP &PE), VProcs, BYNETS
- Efficient usage of Teradata DDL Statements – Derived Tables, Volatile Tables and Global Temporary Tables.
- Hands on Knowledge on Teradata Concepts – Primary Index, Partitioned Primary Index, Secondary Index, Join Index and Compression Techniques.
- Understand the Concept of Locking Mechanisms in Teradata
- Experience on Query Tuning mechanisms using indexes & proper usage of Statistics in Teradata
- Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience in Financial domain
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Informatica.
- At least 2 years of experience with Teradata.
